Abstract
This paper addresses two very interesting and relevant issues in terms of nursing and nursing research, one because of its relationship to matters of elitism, nursing empowerment, oppression and the researchers' responsibilities to gather data from all parts of the professional nursing spectrum. The other because it offers a practical and well-considered insight into an under utilised and yet simple approach to gathering research data (even for nonelite groups).
