While the focus of this article is on gender, a number of consistent themes emerge in Bond films, such as deviancy, sexuality, race, international politics, consumption and nationalism, posit the value Bond films can play in providing accessible content to university students in the development of critical thinking on a range of contemporary issues.</p>
